Are your soaps ok for those with Sensitive Skin?

Everyone's definition of sensitive skin is different.  I suggest that if you have allergies or sensitive skin, our soap may not be for you.  We will continue to research soapbases and skin friendly oils so that one day we may provide soap formulated for some sensitive skins.

What is the difference between a Shower Steamer and a Bath Bomb?

A shower steamer is not meant to contact your body/skin. (NEVER use a shower steamer as a bath bomb, you will burn your skin and sensitive areas!)  It should sit in the corner of your shower where it will get some water on it, but not directly in the shower stream.  Shower steamers have much stronger scents and don't contain skin loving ingredients.  Bath bombs are intended for contact with your skin as you luxuriate in the bath tub.  Bath bombs contain skin safe levels of fragrance and often contain other skin loving ingredients such as kaolin clays.

What is a wax melt?

Think of a wax melt like a candle without the flame.  It contains a wax that is harder than that of most candles, but has the same fragrances.  You snap a piece of the melt off and put it in your wax melter to enjoy the scent.

Why we use Coconut Apricot Wax for candles?

With so many types of waxes to use, we have settled on plant based Coconut Apricot as it provides a beautiful creamy texture to the candles.  It is easy to work with. Our wax comes from a supplier in Calgary. It is vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free and comes from renewable sources.  It provides and excellent fragrance throw (both hot and cold) and exhibits an evenness of burn and wax consumption.

Why are there two kinds of wax listed in your wax melt options?

We are currently using two types of waxes, Coconut wax and Soy wax for our wax melts.  Both are specifically designed for use in wax melts as they are a little harder than regular wax and they can hold a higher fragrance load.  There is minimal difference between the two kinds and the fragrance you will experience is the same regardless of the type of wax.
